One time I saw an older woman getting off the bus with a walker and carrying a bunch of things. I asked if she needed a hand and she said yes, and I carried her things up the stairs into the building we were both going to and we had a brief conversation. Later that day, I told my friend about what happened, and she said she saw the woman sitting in the building with the biggest smile on her face right after. Kindness makes an impact!

Over the summer, I witnessed a huge act of kindness while spending time with friends in Kansas City, MO. They chose to dedicate much of their free weekend time to helping underserved individuals in historically redlined districts, taking on tasks like painting houses, repairing roofs, and other handyman work. Watching them give so selflessly, expecting nothing in return was so moving to me.

    Bernice – USA

I wasn’t feeling great at the music festival, so I laid down on the grass to rest. As people walked by, a lot of them stopped to check if I was okay. Some even stayed to fan me and offer me water. It was a simple but kind gesture that I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated at the time.

    Mike – NJ, USA

I made soup for a good friend who’s fighting through his 4th round of cancer related surgery and for my youngest son who recently had a bad fall and badly dislocated his shoulder. Food is my love language and how I show people I care for them.

    Jalpa Patel – India

Everyone is sharing what kindness they have spread I would like to share what kindness I am receiving and give them a token of appreciation. Yesterday while I was driving to my home I forgot to take a document from my friend( Praful Dobariy). When I cald him and asked him are you at home so that I can come and pickup the documents. So he is like you don’t come 4Miles inside the lane I will come and hand over you in your way. He came all the way to give me the documents without hesitating. Surprisingly I didn’t asked him for the favour he did it by himself selflessly.

I saw “pay toll for the car behind you”

I once paid the toll for the car *ahead* of me!

Back in the days when the Garden State Parkway took tokens, I used tokens all the time. One day I was not in the token-only lane but had been herded into the cash lane, which accepted tokens. The car in front of me had a Quebec license plate. So they handed their paper money to the collector who handed it back, shaking his head. I realize that they tried to pay with Canadian money, which is not accepted. So I tapped my horn and held up TWO tokens to the collector and waved to say, “Let them through. I’ll pay.” He let them through and I paid.
